How Yacooti works, from brief to finished video

The whole workflow on one page: what you do, what Yacooti does, and where a person checks the work.

Yacooti makes two kinds of video for your clients. Narrated videos start from a written brief: Yacooti writes a script, narrates it, adds music and edits it in your client's brand. Recuts start from a video of someone talking to camera: Yacooti transcribes it and adds designed cards on top. This page walks through narrated videos; recuts have their own guide.

The workflow

  1. 1

Set up a client and their brand kit

A client is a business you make videos for. Its brand kit holds the colours, font, logo, look and narrator every video for that client uses.

    Add a client
  2. 2

    Write a brief

Say what the video should say: the business, the product, who it's for, and any offer, contact details, facts or testimonials. Only what's in the brief can appear in the script.

  3. 3

    Check and edit the script

Yacooti writes the script in a minute or so and shows it in the studio, with a silent preview. Edit any scene; fix anything the checks flag.

    Edit the script
  4. 4

    Generate the video

When the script is right, press Generate video. Yacooti narrates it, composes music to fit and renders every format you picked. It usually takes a few minutes.

    Review, approve and download

Your team and your client's reviewers watch it, comment and approve. Download each format with a readable file name and post it.

    Approve a version

Where a person checks the work

Yacooti never invents a price, a number, a contact detail or a quote. Each script is checked against its brief, and anything that doesn't come from it is flagged before you can generate. The approval step is where your client confirms the finished video.

Still stuck?

A person at Yacooti reads every message and replies by email. Name your workspace, and the video if it's about one.
